Animals are an important element in learning Permaculture. They teach us many things such as compassion, patience, and the art of caring for others. We maintain a mutual symbiosis with our livestock, working hard to ensure their lives are full and abundant, while they give back everything from fiber to food and a touch of love. Learning the art of animal husbandry is both empowering and humbling. Animals are integral to life and a gift we should not take for granted.
